The times we are living in, and facing...

This is the hour to witness God's truth to the lost. Dedicate ourselves to prayer, worship, and the Bible. Prepare and get ready for the times ahead for there is a great separation coming: the lukewarm and unbelieving from the dedicated.

On May 1st, 2020, I saw a vision of a black cloud.

People were terrified by what they saw coming. Many people had built a foundation that was not built on Christ the Solid Rock and their foundation was crumbling like sawdust. Instead of trusting in Christ, they had trusted in individuals and the words of false prophets who said, "peace, peace, all is well!" Their idols were falling down and they did not know who to turn to.

I also saw in this vision people clenching their worldly possessions and positions that they believed gave them security and a false sense of self-worth. In their anguish, they loosened their grip on these worthless things that dropped to the ground. Then I saw (in another area) the dedicated followers of Christ aglow and ablaze with His light and some of the terrified people ran to Christ in them, the Light of the world. There is a harvest of souls in these troubling times ahead who will surrender to Him but also, I saw others who did not.

Then I saw in the vision a people of God; the prepared ones, vessels of honor filled with fresh oil radiating His brilliant light, filled with the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, meeting with Him in the Holy of Holies not just in the outer courts and God is revealing His mysteries to them.

Our Walk With Jesus

As followers of Jesus Christ, we must be aware of our walk.

1 John 2:6, those who say they follow Christ must walk as He walked.

2 Corinthians 5:7, walk by faith not by sight.

Ephesians 4:1, walk worthy of your calling with humility and love.

Ephesians 5:15, walk in wisdom.

2 John 4, walk in truth.

Ephesians 5:8, walk as children of the light.

A Way to Deal With Fear and Worry

Last week someone gave me a harp. Thank you Jesus for your many gifts and blessings.

Psalm 144:9 I will sing a new song upon my harp. I sat with my harp and sang love songs to Christ my Savior as my fingers moved over the strings. You may not know how to play a musical instrument, but you have a song in your heart. Psalm 137 tells us that when the Israelites were taken into captivity they hung up their harps. Do not let fear and worry take your song away. Think on God's goodness and sing songs of thanksgiving to Him. He is your Comforter, Shepherd and Mighty God.

Preparing for the New Year

In Joshua 3 and 4, God brought the people out of Egypt where they had been slaves. God has new plans for His people. In your life, be encouraged, for He has good plans for you. When you look back over the months, thank the Lord for the challenges and trials. In the midst of the storms, you depended more on the Lord, yielding to His guidance and leaning on Him for strength. God told Joshua to tell the people to prepare themselves for entering into the promised land.

Today, God tells us to get ourselves ready. In verse 5, the people were told to sanctify themselves, “...for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” Repent of complacency, selfishness, wasting time, lacking in Bible reading and prayer, being critical, blaming, controlling. Sanctify yourself. Have a good attitude. Be grateful. Be kind, forgive. Put Christ first and love Him with all your heart. Sing songs of praise to Him and feel His love and peace. Do not dwell on regrets, but thank God for the past and enter into the new plans He has for you in the future.

Joshua set up twelve stones as they passed over the Jordan river and in 4:21, God said they were to be a monument for all those who would ask what they were for. God said, “When you look at them, remember what I brought you through in the past and look forward to the way I will work in your life in the future.” There is hope and peace in believing and trusting in Christ.
