Have a Thankful Heart and Attitude

Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Dont grumble and complain and think on the negative but look for God's goodness and blessings.

Philippians 4:6 tells us that we are not to fret or be anxious but pray with thanksgiving.
7 Then we will have the peace of God in our heart and mind. So many people have troubled and tormented minds. God wants us to think on Him instead and the beauty around us. Philippians 4:8 tells us to think on things that are good and lovely and pure.

Revelation 7:11 tells us that the angels in heaven stood around the throne of God worshiping and saying "Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be unto our God for ever and ever".

In l Chronicles 16:7-36 David was so grateful that the ark was brought to them signifying the holiness of God that he offered praise to God Almighty. Every day walk with a thankful heart and tell others about Jesus. Tell them He died on the cross and shed His precious Blood for the forgiveness of our sins and rose again. People need to know they can know Him personally.

Purpose in your heart with the help of the Holy Spirit to BE THANKFUL.

God's Goodness

Psalm 31:19
Oh how great is Thy goodness which you have laid up for those that fear, honor, respect and trust in You.  Every day purpose to look for the goodness of God. He wants to give us special gifts each day to encourage us. In these gifts are messages from Him. They could be a smile or kind act. Romans 2:4 says that the goodness of God leads to repentance.

At times individuals feel they failed God and they don't deserve God's goodness. When they see God displaying His love toward them their heart is touched and they can weep with gratitude and draw nearer to Him asking God to forgive them.

Romans 15:13 says that the God of all hope fill you with joy and peace in believing and that you abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Every day thank God for His love and goodness. When we ask Him into our
hearts and truly believe in Him and the Holy Bible then His Holy Spirit will fill our hearts with His comfort, peace, strength, joy and much more.

Jewish New Year

Psalm l04:l
Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. l4 he causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man; that he may bring forth food out of the earth. 24 O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom has thou made them all; the earth is full of thy riches. 30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit they are created; and thou renewest the face of the earth. 3l The glory of the Lord shall endure for ever; the Lord shall rejoice in His works. 33 I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. 34 My meditation of him shall be sweet; I will be glad in the Lord. Declare God's greatness. Declare that He is All Powerful, Mighty
King, Judge, Saviour.

October 3 is significant, for it is the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashana or Feast of Trumpets; the blowing of the Ram's horn. Declaring God is Great. The trumpet sound calls people to repentance, to wake up from sin and lukewarmness to rise up. The horn also reminds us of Abrahams willingness to obey God and give up his son but God provided a ram. Jesus Christ became our supreme sacrifice; the Lamb of God who died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins and rose again.

Believe in Him and the Holy Bible and personally talk to Him throught the day. He will help you though His Holy Spirit to live a llife of integrity pleasing unto Him.  When we accept Him then we are written in the Lamb's book of life and are assured of a home in heaven. Rosh Hashana is a joyous time of
rejoicing and thanksgiving feasting on choice foods and apple and honey signifing a sweet New Year.

Trust in God

l Timothy 4:l0 we trust in the living God who is the Savior of all men.

Isaiah 3l:l Woe to them that trust in Egypt for help and horses and chariots because there are many but they do not look to the Holy One of Israel neither seek the Lord. 3 now the Egyptians are men and not God and their horses are flesh and not spirit.  Today it is important to put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

He is our Solid Rock, our firm Foundation. Matthew 7:24-28, Jesus tells us that we are to be doers of the Word and build our life on the teachings of Christ. We will be like a house with a good foundation and when the storms of life come we will not fall. There is an old hymn that many sang and some of the words were,

"On Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand." Put your Trust in the Bible and read it daily for it is truly the holy words of God that never change.

Isaiah 30:l0 says that some  people want to hear only smooth words from prophets that will make them feel comfortable and not bring conviction or change. Personally talk to Jesus and be open and honest with Him about your attitude and feelings. Trust Him to show you areas in your life that are not pleasing to Him. You can confide in Him for He wants to make something beautiful out of your life. Trust Him for He is Savior, Healer, Comforter, Advisor, Joy Giver and much more. John l4;26,27 He gives a peace that this world cant give so do not let your heart be troubled or afraid. Trust Him today.

Prayer

Prayer changes us and situations around us. In Matthew 6:6 we are told that when we ener into
our prayer closet and shut the door and pray to our Father that we will be rewarded.

Prayer gives us peace. God does not want us to carry burdens of worry and fear. We are to give all our concerns to Him.

Christ wants us to walk close to Him and experience His peace. John l4:26 says that He will give us a peace that the world cant give so not to let our heart be troubled or fearful.

In l Kings l8:37 Elijah  was so concerned that the people  did not have a close relationship with God. He called out or cried out to God and asked God to turn their hearts back again.

We also want our friends and relatives to personally know Jesus Christ, the one who died on the cross and rose again. He is the only one that forgives us of our sins when we  are truly sorry.

Pray for those around you and have peace and faith the Holy Spirit is working in their hearts.
