2 Kings l8:6 Hezekiah clung to the Lord and departed not from following God and kept the Lords commandments.
Let us follow Hezekiah's example and walk close to God. Personally talking with Jesus Christ throughout the day and reading those encouraging words from the bible. Joshua l:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth but you shall meditate on it day and night. Observe to do all that is written in the word for then you shall make your way to prosper and you will have good success. Do not follow mans false teaching but follow God's words of truth. The truth will set us free and keep us free.
l Samuel l5:22 and Samuel said that the Lord is more pleased with those who obey the voice of the Lord than all our sacrifices.
Acts 5:29 then Peter and the other apostles answered and said that they ought to obey God rather than men who would want to draw them away from following Christ. and His teachings.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and find strength, joy, comfort, wisdom, guidance
in His teachings.

Living Right
ll Chronicles 29 is the story of king Hezekiah of Jerusalem. We can learn from him about living right.
In verse 2 it says that he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord. Romans 13:13 tells us to walk honestly not in rioting and drunkeness or arguring, strife or envying but 14 put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh.
II Chronicles 29:3 says that Hezekiah opened the doors of the house of the Lord and repaired them. Let us open up our hearts and ask the Holy Spirit to come in and repair and heal us. We can be totally open and honest with the Lord and want change. In Colossians 3:8-16 we read that we are to get rid of anger, and speak only words that are pleasing to the Lord. Verse 12 reads that we are to show mercy, kindness and be humble and patient (15) and let the peace of God rule in your hearts and be thankful. and (16) let the Word of Christ dwell in you.
In ll Chronicles 29:5 the leaders were told to sanctify themselves and sanctify the house of the Lord God and carry the filthiness out of the holy place. ll Corinthians 7:1 God tells us to cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit perfecting holiness in the fear of God. When we love God with all our heart then we also honor and respect him and want to do right. God blesses the righteous.
We have His Holy Spirit to help us when we believe in Christ. We are told in verses 25-29 that after they repented of their sins they worshpped God. When we come before the Lord and humbly ask Him to forgive us He will, and we can go forth rejoicing, experiencing a new freedom, joy and peace.
l Corintians 6:19, 20 tells us that our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost who is in us and we are not our own for we are bought with a price. Jesus Christ shed His Blood for us on the cross to pay for our sins. We are to glorify God in our body and in our spirit for we belong to God when we dedicate our lives to Him.
Throughout the day walk close to the Lord, personally talking to Him. He will lead and guide you and give you strength and comfort to choose the right way; His way.

The Blood of Jesus Christ
The blood of Jesus Christ is so important. There is power and forgiveness and new life in His blood.
Hebrews 9:7 "but into the tabernacle went the high priest alone once every year with the sacrificed blood of animals which he offered for himself and for the errors; sins of the people."
Hebrews 9:14 "how much more shall the blood of Christ who, through the eternal Spirit, offered Himself without spot to God."
Hebrews 10:4, 12, 19, 20 "for it is not possible that the blood of animals should take away sins...but Jesus Christ the Lamb of God offered Himself as the true sacrifice for our sins. We now have boldness to enter into the holy of holies by the blood of Jesus Christ...by a new and living way, which he has made...a way for us through the veil, that is to say, His flesh."
In the Old Testament the best animal had to be sacrificed by the priest and the blood of that animal covered the sins of the person who confessed their wrongs. Many animals died but God made a way for Jesus Christ to shed His blood on the cross so our sins could be forgiven.
When we personally tell Jesus that we believe in Him and we are truly sorry for all our wrongs, He will forgive us. There is power in His blood to forgive sins.
1 Peter 1:18-19 "we know that we were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and spot. Jesus Christ is pure and holy and without sin. He is our Saviour, our God."
Ephesians 1:17 "in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace."
1 Corinthians 2:24-30 are verses read at communion. We remember that Christ suffered and shed His blood on the cross but rose again and is alive today in Spirit. We can personally talk to Him and find comfort, strength and guidance in His presence.
We sing a familiar hymn, "Are You Washed in the Blood of the Lamb?" I pray you will know how important the blood of Jesus Christ is. You can find freedom and peace in knowing your sins are forgiven through His blood. You do not have to live with tormenting guilt and shame.
Surrender your life to Jesus and love Him with all your heart for He loves you and has good plans for your life.

Things God Wants You to Know
Is the Bible Holy and True?
Yes, the Bible is the holy and true word of God.
Psalm 119:89
Forever, O Lord, your word is settled in heaven.
Isaiah 40:8
The grass and flowers fade, but the word of our God shall stand forever.
Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass away but My words shall not pass away.
2 Peter 1:21
Holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is for our learning and help to change us.
Psalm 119:11
Your word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against You.
Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Deuteronomy 28
Those who live a life pleasing to God will be blessed, but those who rebel against God will not be blessed.
God loves people and He wants them to have a happy and blessed life if they follow the Bible, which is a road map for daily living.
If we all lived by the ten commandments, life on earth would be a much better place.
Exodus 20:3-17 The Ten Commandments
Thou shall not make any graven images or idols and worship and bow down to them. No adultery. Don't take the name of the Lord in vain. Don't use it as a swear word. Respect the Lord's day. Honour your Father and Mother. Don't kill or steal or lie or have greed and be envious of what others have.

Things God Wants You to Know
Will There Be Joy in Heaven?
Luke 15:7
I say unto you that joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents on earth.
Isaiah 25:4, 8
God will wipe away all tears from their eyes, no more sorrow, crying or death.
There is no darkness or night in heaven;
Revelation 22:5
There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
God is Light and in Him is no darkness. Jesus is the Light of the world. The Glory of the Lord will light up heaven.
